Why is it important to use certified tubes?
The procedure outcome depends directly on the quality of the tubes used to prepare the plasma
A medical device, not a laboratory tube
MM Medic tubes are safety class IIa and ISO 13485 certified. Laboratory tubes (IVD) are intended for testing only—their contents are not designed for introduction into the body.
Safe materials
Medical borosilicate glass and a reversible anticoagulant (sodium citrate) keep platelets alive and active. Laboratory tubes containing EDTA irreversibly destroy platelets.
Guaranteed results
Using certified tubes ensures a high regenerative potential of the plasma. Ask your doctor which tubes they use—it affects the effectiveness of the procedure.
Using laboratory (IVD) tubes for therapeutic procedures violates medical device regulations and may pose a risk to the patient's health.
